TERMS AND CONDITIONS (SERVICE AGREEMENT)

1. THE AGREEMENT
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Jaixis Cloth Care Solutions, operating under the brand name IRONX (the “Company”, “we”,“us”, or “our”), and you (“Customer”, or “you”). This Agreement governs your access to the
IRONX website, our WhatsApp-based booking system, and the professional cloth care services provided by our store in Chennai. By scheduling a pickup or using our services, you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.
2. SCOPE OF SERVICES
IRONX provides professional cloth care focusing on:
– Ironing Services: Electric, Steam and Premium Ironing.
– Logistics: Doorstep pickup and delivery services within specified service areas.
– Exclusions: IRONX does not provide chemical dry cleaning or washing services unless explicitly specified in writing.
3. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
– Age: You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services.
– Data Accuracy: You are responsible for providing a right mobile number and delivery address.
– System Integration: By using our WhatsApp booking system, you consent to the creation of a customer profile within our Software to manage your orders and invoicing.
4. BOOKING AND SERVICE PROCESS
– Channels: Bookings are primarily handled via the Meta WhatsApp API, but can also be made through phone calls or the website.
– Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once you receive a message from our smart assistant or staff.
– Right to Refuse: IRONX reserves the right to accept or reject any order based on
operational feasibility, safety concerns, or garments unsuitable for ironing.
5. GARMENT HANDLING AND LIABILITY
– The Rule: The count of garments verified at our Madipakkam processing
center is final. Any discrepancy must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
– Customer Duty: Customers must check all pockets for cash, Jewellery, or electronics. IRONX is not responsible for items left in pockets.
– Pre-existing Conditions: IRONX is not liable for damage resulting from existing wear and tear, thinning fabric, color bleeding, or manufacturer defects.
– Maximum Liability: In the rare event of proven damage or loss caused by IRONX, our liability is strictly limited to ten (10) times the ironing charge of that specific garment, or a maximum of ₹1000 for regular daily wear and ₹1,500 for silk sarees and other expensive garments, whichever is lower, regardless of the brand or original cost.
6. PICKUP AND DELIVERY POLICY
– Service Area: We currently serve Madipakkam and a surrounding radius (including Velachery, Adambakkam, Nanganallur, Kovilambakkam, Puzhuthivakkam and Keelkattalai).
– Timelines: Standard delivery is typically 6-8 to36 hours. Express delivery (2–8 hours) is available at an additional cost.
– Missed Delivery: If a customer is unavailable during a scheduled slot, a “Visit Fee” or re-delivery fee of ₹30 may apply for subsequent attempts.
– Unclaimed Clothes: Clothes not collected or accepted within 30 days of the ready date will be disposed of at the Company’s discretion, and IRONX will not be liable for the loss.
7. PRICING AND PAYMENT
– Rates: Services are charged per piece or via bulk plans as per the current rate card.
– Payment Modes: We accept UPI, digital payments, and cash at the time of delivery or in advance.
– Invoicing: Digital receipts generated via the Software will be sent via WhatsApp or email.
8. WHATSAPP COMMUNICATION AND PRIVACY
– Express Consent: By contacting us via WhatsApp, you provide “Express Consent” to receive automated transactional messages (order status, invoices, pickup alerts and offers details) via the Meta WhatsApp Business API.
– Data Sharing: Your data is shared with our technology partners solely to facilitate
service. We do not sell your personal data to third-party marketing firms.
– Opt-Out: You can stop receiving automated messages at any time by replying “STOP”. Please note this may prevent real-time delivery updates.
9. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
– Cancellations: Pickups can be cancelled free of charge up to one hour before the scheduled slot. Cancellations made after a driver arrives may incur a fee.
– Quality Guarantee: If you are unsatisfied with the ironing quality, we offer free re- ironing if reported within 12 hours of delivery.
– Refunds: As a service-based business, cash refunds are generally not provided for services already rendered. Refunds for overpayments will be processed within 5–7 business days.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All branding, logos (including the IRONX mark and tagline “Look sharp, Seize the day”), website content, and proprietary business models are the intellectual property of Jaixis Cloth Care Solutions.
11. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

This policy governs the logistics of the pickup and delivery services provided by IRONX (a unit of JAIXIS Cloth Care Solutions). By scheduling a service through our WhatsApp Business API, website, or phone, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. SERVICE AREA
IRONX currently provides doorstep pickup and delivery exclusively in the following areas of Chennai:
– Primary Zone: Madipakkam (Store Location).
– Extended Zones: Velachery, Adambakkam, Nanganallur, Keelkattalai, Puzhuthivakkam and Kovilambakkam (typically within a 5km to 7km radius of our processing centre).
2. PICKUP AND DELIVERY TIMELINES
We strive to provide professional cloth care that fits your schedule. Our logistics team operates from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, all days (Monday to Sunday) except Public holidays.
– Standard Service: Garments are typically delivered within 24 to 36 hours from the time of pickup.
– Express Service: For urgent requirements, “Express” orders are prioritized and delivered within 2 to 8 hours, subject to an additional “Express Fee”
– Delays: While we aim for 100% on-time service, timelines may be affected by extreme weather, heavy traffic, or unforeseen technical issues. We will notify you via WhatsApp of any significant delays.
3. DELIVERY CHARGES
– Free Delivery: We offer free pickup and delivery for all orders above ₹200 (or as specified in current promotions).
– Nominal Fee: For orders below this threshold, a convenience fee (typically ₹30) will be added to the final invoice to cover logistics and fuel costs.
4. THE PROCESS AND TRACKING
IRONX uses a WhatsApp-first, zero-hassle system integrated with Software to ensure transparency.
– Booking: Customers can schedule a pickup instantly via our WhatsApp smart assistant.
– Verification: Our executive will count the clothes at pickup, but the final count and inspection at our processing centre is deemed final.
– Notifications: Once processed, you will receive an automated “Order Ready” message via WhatsApp.
– Tracking: You do not need a tracking number; simply type “Status” in our WhatsApp chat at any time for a real-time update (e.g., “In-Process,” “Ready,” or “Out for Delivery”).
5. MISSED DELIVERIES AND RE-ATTEMPTS
– First Attempt: Our executive will attempt to contact you via your registered mobile number upon arrival.
– Second Attempt: If you are unavailable during the scheduled slot, a re-delivery fee of ₹30 may be applied to your invoice for the second attempt.
– Store Pickup: You may choose to pick up ready cloths directly from our store at 5/750, Sabari Salai, Madipakkam, to avoid re-delivery fees.
6. SAFE DROP-OFF AND LIABILITY
If you request that garments be left with a security guard, neighbour, or at your doorstep, IRONX shall not be held liable for any subsequent theft, loss, or damage once the delivery executive has completed the drop-off at the requested location.
7. UNCLAIMED ITEMS
Garments not collected or accepted for delivery within 30 days of the “Ready Date”will be handled or disposed of at the Company’s discretion, and IRONX shall have no further liability for the loss.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

At IRONX (a unit of JAIXIS Cloth Care Solutions), we are committed to providing professional ironing and cloth care with a focus on quality and hygiene. We understand that plans may change; this policy outlines how we handle cancellations and requests for refunds
or service credits.
1. CANCELLATION POLICY
A. Pickup Cancellations
– Before Pickup: You may cancel or reschedule a scheduled pickup free of charge up to one (1) hour before your selected time slot. This can be done directly through our WhatsApp Bot or by calling our store.
– At the Doorstep: If our pickup executive arrives at your location and the order is cancelled, or if the customer is unavailable during the scheduled slot, a “Visit Fee” of ₹30 will be charged to cover logistics and fuel costs.
B. Order Cancellations (After Pickup)
– Once garments have reached our processing centre and have been tagged in the Software, the order generally cannot be cancelled as the sorting and ironing process begins immediately.
– If a cancellation is requested after garments reach the store but before ironing has commenced, a service handling fee of ₹50 will be charged. The clothes will then be returned in their original condition during the next scheduled delivery cycle.
2. REFUND POLICY
As a service-based business, IRONX generally issues “Service Credits” or “Re-ironing” rather than cash refunds for completed services.
A. Quality Disputes (The IRONX Guarantee)
– If you are unsatisfied with the quality of the ironing, please notify us within 12 hours of delivery.
– We offer a “No-Questions-Asked” complimentary re-ironing of the specific garment(s). We will pick up, re-process, and deliver the items back to you at no additional cost.
– Cash refunds are not provided for services already rendered and accepted.
B. Technical Errors and Overpayments
– In the event of a technical billing error (e.g., double deduction via a payment gateway or a clerical error in the software), the excess amount will be refunded to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
– Alternatively, customers may choose to have the excess amount added as a Credit Balance to their IRONX account for future use.
C. Lost or Damaged Items
– Refunds or compensation for lost or damaged items are governed by our Terms & Conditions liability clause.
– Proven damage claims will be settled either through a bank transfer or store credit. Compensation shall be limited to a maximum of ten (10) times the ironing charge for the specific item, or ₹1,000 for regular daily wear and ₹1,500 for silk sarees and other expensive garments, whichever amount is lower.
3. BULK PLANS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
If you have purchased a “Bulk Plan” or “Family Package” and wish to cancel the subscription before completion:
– Services already used will be billed at the Standard Non-Package Rate.
– The remaining balance, minus a 10% administrative fee, will be refunded to your
bank account.
4. NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS
Refunds will not be issued for issues beyond our control, including:
– Pre-existing damage, fabric thinning, or manufacturer defects.
– Color fading or shrinkage inherent to the fabric type.
– Delays caused by external factors such as traffic, weather, or government restrictions.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
Your data is used solely for the following business purposes:
– Service Fulfillment: To schedule pickups, process ironing orders, and deliver garments to your doorstep.
– Communication: To send transactional updates (Order Confirmed, Ready for Delivery, Invoicing & offer details) via the Meta WhatsApp Business API.
– Account Management: To maintain your customer profile and service history within the Software environment.
– Marketing: We may occasionally send promotional offers. You may opt out of these at any time.
4. WHATSAPP COMPLIANCE & CONSENT
To comply with Meta WhatsApp Business API policies:
– Express Consent: By initiating a chat with IRONX or booking a service, you provide ‘Express Consent’ to receive automated transactional messages.
– Opt-Out: You can stop receiving automated WhatsApp messages at any time by replying with the word ‘STOP’. Note that this may prevent us from providing real-time delivery updates.
5. DATA SHARING AND THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party marketing firms. We share limited data only with:
– Software Partners: Software, which hosts our secure database.
– Communication Platforms: Meta Platforms, Inc., to facilitate WhatsApp messaging.
– Logistics Partners: Internal delivery personnel or authorized riders who receive your name, address, and phone number to complete a delivery.
– Legal Requirements: If required by Indian law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
6. DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION
We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption and secure servers, to protect your information. Customer records are stored securely within the ERP system. We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as required for legal, tax, and regulatory purposes.
7. YOUR RIGHTS
Under the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to:
– Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
– Correction: Request that we update inaccurate or incomplete information.
– Erasure: Request the deletion of your personal data (subject to legal record-keeping requirements for business transactions).
